Infographic: Usage of Social Apps, iPhone vs. Android

October 31st, 2011 by Onavo Team

We released another infographic over the weekend, peering into the usage of social apps on mobile networks, comparing between iPhone and Android users. As expected, Google+ is an Android stronghold, as 35% of users use the app on their device. iPhone users on the other hand are no strangers to Google+ (8%), but prefer to spend their time on Facebook – 90% used the app within the 30-day period.

In terms of data usage, Facebook is big on each platform – accounting for 10% and 5% of all mobile data on iPhone and Android, accordingly.

The infographic was published on Mashable and is also available on visual.ly (high res version).
